Mission Bravo tactical firearms training provides everyone with high-speed, high-quality CAT-IV (dynamic shooting special operations qualifications) certified instructors. These instructors have a diverse and extensive background in anti-terrorism, maritime interdiction operations, CQB, and lethal / nonlethal weapons. They know what they are doing and teaching on the range and bring a wealth of experience and knowledge as US military veterans and high-risk contractors.
Bob Smith is a 7th degree black belt in Taekwondo and has established himself as one of Hawaii’s top martial artists as well as being a competitor and instructor for the past 30 years. His experience and expertise has been used in homicide trials, working with attorneys and investigators. Since 9/11, Bob Smith has turned his focus away from the competition world and focused extensively on terrorism and active shooter events that take place far too frequently. He has personally contributed to the course curriculum and revisions that are currently being used by the United States Navy’s anti-terrorism and maritime interdiction operations.
As a tactical weapons instructor for the US Navy, and former site lead for the Anti-Terrorism Center detachment Pearl Harbor. Bob Smith has qualified several hundred military personnel in the proficiency of weapons handling, search procedures, and CQB operations, including most recently the United States USS Chung Hoon, whose VBSS team thwarted and seized a large cache’ of weapons of the Middle East.
