One Day Tactical Shotgun

The introduction to our Tactical Shotgun course is designed to increase the athlete’s current skill level when employing the shotgun. This course will equip you with the tools to effectively, safely, and competently employ the most versatile firearm ever made. Regardless of whether you have used a shotgun for years as a hunter, competitor, for home defense, or in a Law Enforcement / Military capacity, this course will significantly improve your skills, confidence and performance under pressure.
The course will consist of approximately 1 hour of classroom instruction on firearm safety, firearm operation, and the cognitive aspects of shotgun employment.
Classroom instruction is followed by a day of progressively challenging drills where the athlete will employ the shotgun from a variety of shooting positions while under stress. These drills will force the athlete to employ cognitive abilities while operating the shotgun. Upon completion of this course the shooter will have an in-depth understanding of firearm safety, shotgun handling and marksmanship, and the ability to properly identify how to employ the shotgun based on the target presented.
Course Objective: The student will gain a high level of confidence in their ability to safely and effectively employ the shotgun in a variety of situations.
Ammo requirements: (Student MUST provide their own ammo, weapon, eye-protection, and ear-protection). Amount TBA
Prerequisite: A basic understanding of firearms safety and operation.
Training schedule: Show time is 7:30 am with instruction starting at 8:00 am and ending at 5 pm. A one hour period is allotted for lunch.
Individual equipment (Student Furnished):
Course includes: 8 hours of instruction and a certificate of completion.
