The introduction to our Tactical Shotgun course is designed to increase the student’s current skill level when employing the shotgun. This course will equip you with the tools for effective, safe, and competent usage of the most versatile firearm ever made. Regardless of whether you have used a shotgun for years as a hunter, competitor, for home defense, or in a Law Enforcement / Military capacity, this course will significantly improve your skills, confidence and performance under pressure.
The course will consist of several segments, including approximately 1 hour of classroom instruction on firearm safety, firearm operation, and the cognitive aspects of shotgun employment.
Classroom instruction is followed by a day of progressively challenging drills where the student will employ the shotgun from a variety of shooting positions while under stress. These drills will force the athlete to employ cognitive abilities while operating the shotgun. Upon completion of this course the shooter will have an in-depth understanding of firearm safety, shotgun handling and marksmanship, and the ability to properly identify how to employ the shotgun based on the target presented.
